Just another 20-something now 30-something *gasp* crazy cat lady in the South who loves her pets, reading, NASCAR, Kenny Chesney, Phil Keoghan, the AU Tigers, the UT Vols, the Indy Colts, the Carolina Panthers (really, who can't be a fan of a team whose mascot is named Sir Purr?), web and graphic design, geocaching, Atlanta Braves baseball, and volunteering for a local no-kill cat shelter.
The web design thing isn't enough to pay the bills so I'm now in a vet tech program to become a licensed and certified veterinarian technician. It's a great way to work with animals and I'm excited about starting this new chapter of my life. Wish me luck!
More random facts? -- I'm an honest-to-goodness trained SKYWARN storm spotter. (I haven't spotted much except a couple of wind gusts and a few snowflakes but I can't wait until the spring severe weather season!) -- Jimmie Johnson is my favorite driver, but Carl Edwards is by far the yummiest driver. The man can make the AFLAC duck hot, that takes serious talent. -- I'm addicted to Chuzzle. -- Amazon's Kindle is the best invention ever. Really. I don't know how I survived without it. -- I watch Fox News just to see Phil Keating and Shepard Smith. -- One of my big dreams in life is to go to the Kentucky Derby one year. -- I'm a true cat person at heart, but I'm also a dog person. The newest addition to the family is a chocolate lab named Bella. Her registered name is "Duchess Isabella of the Ball." -- Halloween is my favorite holiday. And not for the candy, or the fact that I have a black cat named Boo. -- I think I'd kill myself if Sephora ever closed. Seriously. -- My favorite restaurant in the whole world is the Original Oyster House in Gulf Shores, AL. Another favorite that's a little closer: P.F. Chang's. -- I could listen to the Twilight movie score every minute of the rest of my life and never get tired of it. -- Oh, and I have an embarrassingly pathetic crush on Reed Timmer of 'Storm Chasers' fame. The guy's a froot loop but he's still awesome. Crazy men turn me on, apparently. -- And 'Storm Chasers'? Best. Show. Ever.
