First, I'd like to thank all of you for the wonderful birthday wishes you left in the comments section of my last post. They were all such an awesome surprise when I logged in the other day and saw them. The kitty-related pics you took the time to find and add to the replies were so cool. Especially the ones from LOLcats -- that's the one site I have to visit on a daily basis and it never fails to make me laugh.

As you can probably tell, the blog is still on a semi-mini-hiatus ... but I'm finally making some progress! It'll be located at a fairly new domain I purchased awhile back on a whim. I decided to keep it in the purrspectives "family" but wanted a place where I could start the blog over completely from scratch without disturbing anything that's already located at purrspectives.net. There's not much up at the new domain right now except a coming soon page (that's really cute if I do say so myself!).

But I thought I'd go ahead and share the URL for the new blog so that those of you out there who like to stalk Tortitude on a practically hourly basis can get a head start on camping out over there as well. Here's a new hobby for ya. (And those of you on my friends list here at LiveJournal? Y'all are definitely not the stalkers I'm referring to -- I'm honored that any of you care enough to visit on a regular basis.)

If I don't get a chance to blog any more between now and next Thursday, I'd like to wish all of Tortietude's visitors and all of my online friends a very happy Thanksgiving. I hope you have a wonderful and safe holiday weekend full of laughter, family, friends, and yummy food!
